  Director of Landscape

EdHargis, Director of Landscape, joined Kinney Management after having served as the Regional Senior Supervisor with a large Valley landscape company for over 8 years. Prior to that, Ed owned and operated his own landscape company in California. He holds the designation of ACLP (Arizona Certified Landscape Professional) and is also certified in Ornamental and Structural Pest Control. Ed is particularly knowledgeable in the diagnosis of plant, turf and pest problems common to the desert area.

The KMS maintenance portfolio is highly diverse and includes natural desert, turf intensive common areas, front yard maintenance, and water features. Geographically, maintenance responsibility extends from northwest Phoenix all the way to Apache Junction in the far East Valley.

Overseeing the landscape division, including the maintenance personnel assigned to each of the communities, Ed believes in crew team building and personnel motivation. Through continuing education, his maintenance staff is well educated as to the unique maintenance requirements of homeowners associations. He considers it a distinct advantage to have direct access to the management arm of the company in the form of ongoing communication with managers and the Boards they represent.
